The Ohio Municipal Joint Self-Insurance Pool offers members stable
premiums year after year without the volatility seen in the standard
insurance marketplace. We provide a policy customized to each member's
specific needs, taking the extra steps to find the right solution.
Our goal is to establish a long-term relationship with each member
of our Pool. We work directly with our members to meet their Loss
Control and Risk Management needs. Outstanding Claims Service is
a trademark of the OMJSP. Our adjusters are local and highly experienced
in public entity claims.

and adequate to ensure members have secure protection over the
long haul.

third party administrator.
- Litigation management consistent with the needs of members.
- Reinsurance against most losses and reduction of net financial
exposure for all claims activities in order to provide greater
financial stability. Reinsurance is provided by Great American
Insurance Group and Allianz/Fireman’s Fund.
